Results of the certification audit

According to the results of the certification audit, the compliance of the quality management system of JSC Transaviaexport Airlines with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2015 and the state standard of the Republic of Belarus was confirmed.

Certificates of conformity with the airline’s registration in the international register of the Eurasian Association EAASS and the national register of the Republic of Belarus were obtained.

Humanitarian aid in Primorye

On August 17, 2023, a Transaviaexport airline Boeing 747-329SF (EW-465TQ) took off from Minsk on a humanitarian flight to Primorye, accompanied by employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus. 72 tons of humanitarian cargo were delivered to the region affected by the disaster: non-perishable food products, clothing, gasoline pumping units, diesel generators, medicines and much more.

Humanitarian mission JSC “TAE Avia" trademark service TransAVIAexport

By the decision of the general meeting of shareholders of JSC “Transaviaexport Airlines” dated December 15, 2021, amendments to the Charter regarding the change of the name of the company were approved.

More than 198 natural persons of citizens of the Republic of Belarus are the shareholders of the airline on the terms of open subscription for shares, together with the share of shares owned by the state.

A distinctive feature of the airline is the efficiency of aviation work on humanitarian transportation. The IL-76 aircraft is operated at any airfield, even under airport restrictions. The airline's crews are highly qualified, confirmed by an international audit of the aircraft operator's activities. The crews of the Il-76 aircraft are specially trained to carry out flights for the delivery of humanitarian cargo by parachuteless landing from low altitudes. Aerial work is carried out to deliver humanitarian aid to the regions of countries where activities are carried out under the auspices of the UN World Food Programme, which is the world's largest humanitarian organization, saving lives in emergencies and providing food assistance to pave the way for peace, stability and prosperity for people recovering from conflicts, disasters and the effects of climate change.

As part of its work with the World Food Programme, the airline's aircraft have carried out more than 5,000 humanitarian flights and transported more than 150,000 tons of food products to various regions of the African continent.

The airline's aircraft carry out aviation work to deliver humanitarian cargo to countries and regions affected by various types of disasters. Among other things, the airline’s aircraft participated in the delivery of vaccines against COVID-19, carried out the transportation of goods as part of humanitarian aid to the Republics of Mozambique and Zimbabwe, assisted in the delivery of humanitarian aid to victims of the Damri tropical storm that hit Vietnam, delivered a large batch of humanitarian aid to Ecuador, as part of the international solidarity campaign launched after the strongest earthquake in the coastal Ecuadorian provinces of Manabi and Esmeraldas, provided assistance to the Krasnodar Territory of Russia in connection with an unprecedented flood and a huge number of other humanitarian missions and flights to various parts of the globe, including European countries and Latin America under the auspices of the World Health Organization.

More than 80% of all flights operated are humanitarian, while the airline is an official registered carrier of the United Nations (registration number 162980) and the World Food Programme (registration number 50076591).
In the organization of aviation activities, constant attention is paid to the process of flight safety management, compliance with the airline's activities with ICAO standards and recommended practices, EASA requirements for aircraft operators to comply with civil aviation security, implementation of measures of the national program for the protection of civil aviation from acts of unlawful interference, approved by the government of the Republic of Belarus.

The airline's aircraft operate flights in strict accordance with international rules and standards governing the activities of international civil aviation, including the transportation of dangerous goods by air of the ICAO classification. The rules for handling and transporting dangerous goods by air are set out in the IATA Dangerous goods regulations. All transportations have a permissive status and are carried out in accordance with the coordination of the flight route of the territories of the countries along the flight route according to diplomatic requests submitted by the authorized bodies of the states.

The adoption of sanctions measures in relation to the activities of JSC “Transaviaexport Airlines” and two Il-76 aircraft are unreasonable and do not correspond to reality regarding the participation of the airline in any type of air transportation prohibited in civil aviation or in violation of the established procedure and rules for the aviation activities of the carrier, is an unacceptable measure that undermines the authority of the international civil aviation system.

JSC “TAE Avia" uses the TransAVIAexport service mark as a distinctive feature of humanitarian activities in the performance of air cargo transportation.

JSC “TAE Avia" demonstrates to its partners and all interested parties its openness to cooperation, changes in its development, confirms the high status of a reliable air carrier under the programs of the international humanitarian mission and the desire to take a pragmatic approach to assessing aviation activities in strict accordance with the standards and rules of international civil aviation.

Airline services

The airline's aircraft continue to operate international flights for the carriage of goods by air.

International civil aviation is facing new challenges such as border closures, quarantine measures at airports, and flight operations amid a pandemic. And it was COVID-19 that caused a sharp demand for the delivery of medical humanitarian cargo by air under the auspices of the World Health Organization. Aircraft of JSC “Transaviaexport Airlines” perform this type of air transportation.

At the present time, cooperation with humanitarian missions remains another in-demand direction of the airline's work.

IL-76 aircraft carry out aviation operations to deliver humanitarian aid to regions of countries where events are held under the auspices of the UN World Food Program, which is the world's largest humanitarian organization that saves lives in emergencies and uses food aid to pave the way to peace, stability and prosperity for people recovering from conflict, disaster and the impact of climate change.

The use of any sanctions and restrictions on the part of individual countries in relation to the activities of JSC “Transaviaexport Airlines” is an unacceptable measure that undermines the authority of the international civil aviation system.

Gratitude of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the PRC

The Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the People's Republic of China expressed deep gratitude to the airline for organizing the delivery and cargo operations of representative products in Minsk and Beijing.

The well-coordinated work of the airline's team made it possible to transfer products from more than 25 manufacturers to the Embassy and made it possible to organize exhibitions to promote Belarusian goods in China.

Humanitarian flight to Belarus

On September 5, 2021, the airline's IL-76 aircraft delivered 1.5 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine to the Minsk National Airport from Beijing. The cargo included 500 thousand doses, which the Chinese side provided to Belarus as friendly humanitarian aid, as well as 1 million doses as part of the purchase. The flight was carried out by order of RUE “Belpharmacia".
The vaccine was delivered by a double crew led by the aircraft commanders Aleksei Tikhanovich and Roman Kostyukevich.

Humanitarian flight to Belarus

On June 22, 2020, the airline's Boeing 747-329SF (EW-465TQ) aircraft delivered humanitarian aid to the Minsk National Airport from the Chinese city of Guangzhou. 50 tons of cargo with personal protective equipment worth about 3 million euros was fully purchased with European Union money. The flight was met by the Deputy Minister of Health of Belarus Boris Androsyuk and the Head of the EU Delegation Dirk Schuebel.

Humanitarian Flights

In the prevailing worldwide epidemiological situation associated with the spread of the coronovirus infection COVID-19, the airline planes are actively involved in the transportation of humanitarian supplies. The Boeing 747-329SF (EW-465TQ) aircraft with a carrying capacity of up to 107 tons is involved in humanitarian transportation from China and India to the EU countries, which are especially in need of the necessary protective equipment in the fight against the pandemic. The crew of the aircraft under the control of aircraft commander Nikolai Khudyakov is provided with everything necessary to protect against the adverse effects of the virus at airports along the flight route.

JSC «Transaviaexport Airlines» third Boeing 747 aircraft fulfilled the first commercial flight to Ecuador with relief goods

A large lot of relief goods from Belarus arrives to Ecuador on Tuesday, May 31. This action is carried out by our country’s government bodies decision within the framework of International solidarity company, which was started after the strongest earthquake in the coastal Ecuador provinces of Manabi and Esmeraldas on April 16, 2016. As a result, the hardest over the last 67 years disaster killed more than 600 people, left thousands homeless. According to the preliminary data, economic damage of the country makes up around 3 billion dollars.

By Ecuador authorities request, Belarus Company «Transaviaexport Airlines» Boeing 747 aircraft will transport 50 tons of relief goods to Eloy Alfaro Military Base, situated in Manta City of Manabi province.

80 big tents, five thousand of blankets, more than two thousands of camp-beds as well as two mobile electric generators will be delivered to the people affected by the earthquake.

On May 31, together with relief goods, a group of the Ministry on Emergency Situation of the Republic of Belarus specialists at the Head of Deputy Minister Mr. Alexandre Khudoleev will arrive in Ecuador.

According to the Plan of JSC “Transaviaexport Airlines” development strategy realization, conditions of transfer to new aircraft type operation alongside with successfully proven reliable IL-76 aircraft are being considered.

So, “Airborne Global Solutions” (Wilmington, USA) Companies Group presentation took place on June 17, 2013 in the Airlines Office with participation of Senior Director, Business Development Mr. Roy Linkner.

Flight, technical and commercial possibilities of Boeing 767 aircraft line, which may find their use in the Airlines after fulfillments of works concerning their conversion into cargo version, were offered for consideration by Aviation Detachment, Aviation and Technical Base and Production and Commercial Service specialists.

This event is evaluated by the Director, Melnik Vadim Grigorievich, as a stage-by-stage plan of aircraft fleet modernization and development, what will contribute to increase of orders volume, expansion of International cargo air transportation by JSC “Transaviaexport Airlines” aircraft.

Humanitarian Assistance Delivery

In accordance with the President of the Republic of Belarus Order and on the basis of the Counsel of Ministers Decision on rendering assistance to Krasnodar Krai of Russia in connection with unprecedented flood, aviation specialists of the Civil Aviation of Belarus took direct part in rendering assistance to victims.

“Transaviaexport Airlines" delivered humanitarian assistance to the destination among the first ones. IL-76 Aircraft crew, PIC Vladimir Bekh (Aviation Detachment Commander’s Deputy) delivered cargo to Anapa Airport . Cargo, total weight of which is 35 tons, was formed from State Material Reserves: half-woolen blankets, bedding, medical supplies, drinking water and foodstuff.

Flight crew fulfilled a noble task connected with relief cargo delivery to the suffered region of Kuban.

The Airlines Participation in Russian Scientific Polar Expedition Provision

Five years on end JSC “Transaviaexport Airlines" Aircraft takes part in Russian Scientific Polar Expedition provision. IL-76 EW-78779 Aircraft and Russian crew, headed by Ruben Esayan, honored test-pilot, the Hero of Russia, carried out important tasks. Two engineers of the Airlines’ Aviation and Technical Base, Vadim Ryzhkov, Vladimir Rizevskiy, as well as a loadmaster Igor Adamovich, were in the crew composition.
